Allen, Jean-Gilles Injured In Win

Head coach Andy Reid said after Sunday's thrilling 26-24 win over the Indianapolis Colts that starting right guard Max Jean-Gilles suffered a concussion and that free safety Nate Allen left the game with a neck strain.

Jean-Gilles incurred the injury on a third-down play with 2:21 to go in the first quarter. Jean-Gilles did not return and was replaced in the lineup by Nick Cole.

Allen was injured when he collided with another Eagle on a run by Colts running back Donald Brown early in the second quarter. Allen went to the locker room for X-rays on his upper back area. Reid said that Allen will need an MRI on Monday to further evaluate the injury. Allen was replaced in the lineup by another rookie in seventh-round pick Kurt Coleman.
