All Of The Lights: The Season Finale

The Eagles ended the 2014 season on a positive note by defeating the New York Giants 34-26 at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Quarterback Mark Sanchez threw for 292 yards and two touchdowns to finish with a 96.1 passer rating. Wide receiver Jordan Matthews concluded a strong rookie season by catching eight passes for 105 yards and scoring his eighth touchdown of the year. Running back LeSean McCoy came just 1 yard shy of the 100-yard mark.

But, the key play of the game came in the second half when tight end James Casey blocked a Steve Weatherford punt that was recovered by rookie tight end Trey Burton and returned 27 yards for a touchdown. It was the Eagles' 11th touchdown on either defense or special teams this season, a franchise record.
