On Saturday, March, 14, 2009, youth football representatives from around the state attended the Eagles' USA Football State Leadership Forum at the NovaCare Complex.
Thirty-Four league commissioners attended the event that allowed for discussions on improving youth football across the region. Topics included player registration, coaching education and resources, playing standards, off season events and the prospect of developing an independent state youth football association.
"Especially in the Philly area, it's a sport that does need the support from the local professional team," David Ashe, a Bert Bell Memorial Football Conference board member said. "The Eagles do a good job."
The Eagles will again partner with USA Football in June to hold a Coaching School to help educate local youth football coaching staff members. For more information on youth Football and the Eagles USA Football Coaching School visit: /community/YouthFootball.asp
