Trent Cole

Defensive End/Linebacker

Eagles Career: 2005-14 | Eagles Hall of Fame Induction: 2022

Known by fans as "The Hunter," Cole was drafted by the Eagles in the fifth round (146th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft and went on to enjoy a 10-year career in Philadelphia. Aside from ranking second in team history with 85.5 career sacks, the two-time Pro Bowler compiled double-digit sacks in four separate seasons, which also ranks second in team history behind Reggie White (eight double-digit sack seasons). His 155 games played in an Eagles uniform is third all-time among defensive linemen and 14th among all players in franchise history.

YEAR-BY-YEAR

2005: A fifth-round pick, Cole made an immediate impact, registering five sacks in 15 games for the Eagles.

2006: Cole had eight sacks in Year 2, adding one interception while not missing a game.

2007: With a career-high-tying 12.5 sacks, Cole made his first Pro Bowl. He also posted a career-high four forced fumbles.

2008: Cole added nine sacks and a career-best 77 total tackles, helping the Eagles make the NFC Championship game.

2009: Making his first All-Pro and second Pro Bowl, Cole had 12.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.

2010: Cole finished with 10 sacks, 65 tackles and one forced fumble.

2011: With 11 sacks, Cole posted his third consecutive double-digit sack season.

2012: Cole had three sacks and 40 tackles.

2013: At 31, Cole had eight sacks and three forced fumbles.

2014: In his final season with the Eagles, Cole registered 6.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.
