Brian Westbrook

A multi-threat back armed with exceptional playmaking abilities, Westbrook finished his Eagles career as the franchise's all-time leader in total yards from scrimmage (9,785). During his time in Philadelphia, the two-time Pro Bowler and first-team AP All-Pro selection helped guide the club to four NFC East crowns, four NFC Championship appearances and a berth in Super Bowl XXXIX. Westbrook is widely remembered for his iconic, game-winning 84-yard punt return touchdown at Giants Stadium in October 2003, best known as the "Miracle at the Meadowlands II." Upon his retirement, he became one of only six players in NFL history with 30+ rushing touchdowns (41) and 30+ receiving touchdowns (30) in his career. Born on September 2, 1979, Westbrook was a consensus All-American and a two-time A-10 Offensive Player of the Year at Villanova University.

YEAR-BY-YEAR

2002: A third-round pick out of Villanova, Westbrook played in 15 games as a rookie and had 193 rushing yards and 86 receiving yards.

2003: With eight starts, Westbrook had an increased workload and ran for 613 yards and seven touchdowns. He also added 37 receptions for 332 yards and four scores and led the league with two punt return touchdowns.

2004: Westbrook made his first Pro Bowl after posting 812 rushing yards and 703 receiving yards along with nine touchdowns. He helped the Eagles reach the Super Bowl and led the postseason with 17 receptions.

2005: Westbrook had 1,233 scrimmage yards and seven touchdowns in 12 starts.

2006: In 15 games, Westbrook had 1,217 rushing yards and 699 receiving yards, scoring 11 touchdowns.

2007: Earning first-team All-Pro honors, Westbrook led the NFL with 2,104 scrimmage yards. He set career highs in both rushing yards (1,333) and receiving yards (771) in what was the best season of his career.

2008: Westbook posted a career-high 14 total touchdowns and nearly rushed for 1,000 yards.

2009: In his final season with the Eagles, Westbrook played in nine games and had 274 rushing yards and two total touchdowns.
