About the Eagles & The NFL's Global Markets Program

What is the NFL’s Global Markets Program?

The NFL's Global Markets Program, launched in 2022, is a long-term strategic initiative granting NFL clubs exclusive marketing rights in specific international markets for at least five years. This allows clubs to engage in fan engagement events, marketing campaigns, and commercial opportunities to build their brand and grow their fanbase globally. Clubs apply for these rights by submitting proposals to the NFL's International Committee each spring, outlining their plans for activities consistent with their home market strategies.

What Does this Mean for Australia and New Zealand?

The NFL's Global Markets Program allows the Eagles to be active across Australia and New Zealand. The Eagles will partner with the NFL to activate flag football programs. Flag football is a part of the team's overall international strategy. The Eagles also plan to deploy other events, including watch parties and other football education and fan engagement experiences.

Will the Eagles Bring Players to Australia and New Zealand?

Yes! Australia Native Jordan Mailata visited on behalf of the team in May 2024 and we plan to return with other players in the future. Our plan is to host more events and activities in Australia and New Zealand that will engage fans. Current and former players are a part of that strategy.
