The Eagles will be without the following six players for this afternoon's game against the Rams.
S Sydney Brown: The rookie misses his second straight game due to a hamstring injury.
DT Fletcher Cox: The veteran is dealing with a back injury and will miss his first game of the season.
QB Tanner McKee (3rd QB): The rookie will serve as the team's emergency quarterback and can only play if Jalen Hurts and Marcus Mariota get injured.
TE Albert Okwuegbunam: After making his Eagles debut in Week 4, the tight end will be inactive today.
RB Rashaad Penny: Penny will miss the game with an illness.
DT Marlon Tuipulotu: Another defensive tackle who will be out with an injury (triceps).
Punter Braden Mann and cornerback Bradley Roby were elevated from the practice squad for today’s game. Roby will make his Eagles debut after being signed at the beginning of this week.
Safety Justin Evans and wide receiver Quez Watkins will play today. Evans missed last week's game with a neck injury and Watkins missed the last two games with a hamstring injury.
Yesterday, offensive guard Cam Jurgens was placed on Injured Reserve with a foot injury. He will be eligible to come back in Week 9 against the Dallas Cowboys. Sua Opeta will start at right guard in place of the injured Jurgens. Tyler Steen will make his NFL debut to provide depth on the offensive line.
Moro Ojomo will also make his NFL debut in Los Angeles. With two defensive tackles out, Ojomo may see playing time on the defensive line.
The Rams will be without two offensive linemen for today's contest. Joe Noteboom misses the game with a groin injury and Zach Thomas is inactive.
