The Eagles placed Myles Jack on the Reserve/Retired list Sunday. The veteran linebacker agreed to terms with the team two weeks earlier.
In two preseason games with the Eagles, Jack recorded five tackles in 52 defensive snaps, adding another four snaps on special teams. He and Zach Cunningham were both signed on the same day to add experience and depth to the linebacking corps.
A former second-round pick of the Jaguars out of UCLA, Jack spent the first six years of his career in Jacksonville, registering three 100-tackle seasons. His 615 total tackles with the Jaguars rank fifth in team history. He posted a fourth 100-tackle season with the Pittsburgh Steelers last year while starting 13 contests. All four of Jack's 100-tackle campaigns came in the last five seasons.
Jack also took great pride in giving back to the community, earning a nomination for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award in 2021.
