The Eagles added experience in the secondary on Friday morning, signing defensive back Kindle Vildor to the practice squad.
To make room, the Eagles released linebacker Brandon Smith.
A fifth-round pick of the Chicago Bears out of Georgia Southern in 2020, Vildor played in 46 games between the Bears and Tennessee Titans. From 2020-22, Vildor had 97 tackles, three tackles for loss, and an interception in 44 games (22 starts) with the Bears.
Released during the final roster cutdown in 2023, the 5-foot-11, 189-pound Vildor was promptly claimed off waivers by the Titans, where he played in two games before being waived last Saturday. Vildor has quickly found another home in Philadelphia.
