Nick Sirianni, Head Coach
With 34 regular-season wins in his first three seasons, Nick Sirianni has the most by any head coach in his first three years with the Eagles. He is also the only head coach in Eagles history to begin his tenure with the team with three straight playoff appearances. Sirianni has presided over two of the largest win total improvements in Eagles history and became just the second head coach in NFL history, joining Bill Walsh, to add five or more wins to their team's win total in consecutive seasons.
Michael Clay, Special Teams Coordinator
In his third year as the team's special teams coordinator in 2023, Michael Clay directed a unit that featured franchise-record-setting performances by kicker Jake Elliott (93.8% field goal percentage, 7 field goals of 50+ yards) and punter Braden Mann (49.8 gross average, 43.9 net average). In addition, Britain Covey led the league in punt return yardage (417) and was second in average (14.4 yards per return). As an overall group, the Eagles' special teams ranked first in DVOA and fifth in the league according to Pro Football Focus' grading method.
Vic Fangio, Defensive Coordinator
A veteran of more than 40 years of coaching, Vic Fangio began in the NFL in 1986 as a linebackers coach with New Orleans. He has been a defensive coordinator with Carolina, Indianapolis, Houston, San Francisco, Chicago, and Miami. Fangio was Denver's head coach from 2019-21.
The NFL's Assistant Coach of the Year in 2018 when he was with the Bears, Fangio – dubbed an "evil genius" by edge rusher Khalil Mack, who played for Fangio in Chicago – worked as a consultant during the Eagles' run to Super Bowl LVII in 2022 before joining the Miami Dolphins in 2023 as defensive coordinator.
"Vic's reputation obviously speaks for itself," head coach Nick Sirianni said. "He's a brilliant defensive mind who has coached at a very high level in this league for many years. In my time spent with Vic, I've seen firsthand what makes him such a great coach – tremendous knowledge of the game, passion, and work ethic. I'm excited for our coaches and players to be able to learn from him and see it for themselves."
Fangio, born near Scranton, Pennsylvania and with extensive roots to the Philadelphia area, including beginning his coaching career with the USFL's Philadelphia Stars in the 1980s, had success with Miami in his lone season there.
In 2023, the Dolphins finished 10th in the NFL in yards allowed (18th in 2022) and ninth in yards allowed per play (14th in 2022). The Dolphins also finished third in the NFL in sacks (56) and tied for eighth in forced turnovers (27).
Fangio's career accomplishments have earned him the respect and admiration of some of the league's best defensive minds. Said former New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick about Fangio: "I think Vic's one of the best defensive coaches in the league. He has his style, defensive philosophy, and system – and he's had a lot of success with them."
Kellen Moore, Offensive Coordinator
Kellen Moore, 34, joins the Eagles after coaching in Dallas as both an offensive assistant and as offensive coordinator from 2018-2022, and then with the Los Angeles Chargers last season as the team's offensive coordinator.
"As an accomplished offensive coordinator, a former NFL player, and a Heisman finalist, Kellen has shown a tremendous ability to lead an offense at every level of the sport while gaining the trust and respect of his players and teammates," head coach Nick Sirianni said. "He is an incredibly smart football coach whose depth of knowledge of the game has helped him become a talented playcaller in this league. During Kellen's tenure as an NFL coach, he has helped to develop some of the best quarterbacks in the league and directed some of its best offenses. We are thrilled to have Kellen join our team."
An undrafted quarterback from Boise State in 2012 – he was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2011 – who played six seasons in the NFL with Detroit and Dallas, Moore has been considered in league circles a bright, young mind on the rise.
In Dallas overseeing the offense, Moore – who called the offensive plays from 2020-22 there – enjoyed considerable success, twice leading the Cowboys to a league-best output in yards and once (2021 season) leading the NFL in scoring (30.4 points per game). Dallas averaged a whopping 401.4 yards per game in that regular season. In 2022, Dallas ranked second in the NFL in points per game in the regular season (28.8) and led the league in red-zone touchdown efficiency (71.34 percent).
In those four seasons Moore oversaw the offense, the Cowboys averaged the second-most points per game in the NFL (27.7) and were second in the NFL in total offense (391 net yards per game) with top 10 passing and rushing production. They also ranked in the top four in third-down percentage (44 percent) in those four seasons.
Moore's season in Los Angeles was marred by significant injuries throughout the offense, including the loss of star quarterback Justin Herbert to injury for the final month of the season. Prior to the injury, Herbert had 20 touchdown passes and 7 interceptions as the Chargers averaged 23 points per game.
Entering Week 6 of the 2023 season and just before injuries really took their toll on the attack, the Chargers ranked fifth in the NFL in total offense, averaging 388.8 yards per game and 5.8 yards per play. Herbert was third in the league with a 106.3 passer rating and had led the Chargers to 13 touchdowns and six field goals in 44 possessions.
A finalist for the Miami Dolphins head coaching job in 2022, Moore that year was named the second-best offensive playcaller in the NFL by Pro Football Focus.
Jemal Singleton, Running Backs/Assistant Head Coach
For the second year in a row, Jemal Singleton played an instrumental role in helping an Eagle earn his first Pro Bowl selection. After being acquired in a draft day trade, D'Andre Swift eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his four-year career on the way to earning Pro Bowl honors. Swift's 1,049 rushing yards finished fifth in the league. In Singleton's first two years with the Eagles, Philadelphia ranked first in the league in rushing yards and touchdowns.
Christian Parker, Passing Game Coordinator/Defensive Backs
Known as a rising name in the NFL's coaching ranks, Christian Parker spent the last three seasons as Denver's secondary coach and is credited with helping develop cornerback Patrick Surtain II, who in three seasons has made two All-Pro teams and one Pro Bowl, and two-time second-team All-Pro safety Justin Simmons, as well as fellow defensive backs Ja'Quan McMillian, PJ Locke, and Caden Sterns, who had breakout seasons in 2023. Parker worked with Eagles Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio when Fangio was the Broncos' head coach in 2021.
Prior to coaching with the Broncos, Parker was in Green Bay as a quality control coach for two seasons. He interviewed for defensive coordinator positions with New England and Green Bay this offseason.
"He's sharp, man. He's sharp. He's a star. He is a great partner to work with," Broncos Defensive Coordinator Vance Joseph said of Parker last June. "As a veteran coach, I've coordinated for about seven years now. My tape is out there, so I'm looking for ways to do different things. Speaking with Christian every day and bouncing ideas off him from what he's done with Vic (Fangio) and guys in the past has been fun. He's smart, he works his butt off, and his players love playing for him. He's a star."
Before his time in the NFL, Parker worked as a defensive analyst at Notre Dame and Texas A&M. He also served as a defensive backs coach at Virginia State and Norfolk State.
Kevin Patullo, Passing Game Coordinator/Associate Head Coach
Kevin Patullo enters his fourth season with the Eagles and second with the added title of associate head coach. Jalen Hurts has developed into a two-time Pro Bowl quarterback with Patullo's assistance. Hurts became just the third NFL quarterback since 1950 to win at least 27 games over a span of 29 starts. Hurts set new Eagles records for total yards (4,463) and total touchdowns (38) in 2023. In back-to-back seasons, Hurts has thrown for at least 20 touchdowns and rushed for at least 10 more.
Jeff Stoutland, Run Game Coordinator/Offensive Line
The longest-tenured member of the coaching staff, Jeff Stoutland enters his 12th season as the team's offensive line coach. In one of the most impressive streaks in the sport, Stoutland has coached at least one Pro Bowl selection in each of his first 11 seasons in Philadelphia. The streak continued in 2023 as guard Landon Dickerson, tackle Lane Johnson, and center Jason Kelce all earned Pro Bowl honors. It is the sixth time that Stoutland has coached three Pro Bowl choices in a season.
Clint Hurtt, Senior Defensive Assistant/Defensive Line
Once a defensive lineman at the University of Miami, Clint Hurtt has been coaching NFL defenses for 10 years. Hurtt joined the Seattle Seahawks in 2017 as a defensive line coach, was promoted to assistant head coach in 2018, and spent the last two seasons as the team's defensive coordinator. Before joining the Seahawks, Hurtt was a defensive line and linebackers coach for the Chicago Bears from 2014-16, working for new Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio, who was the Bears' defensive coordinator from 2015-18.
Roy Anderson, Cornerbacks
A quarterback in his playing days at Howard University, Roy Anderson has been coaching for nearly 20 seasons, making life difficult for opposing signal callers. He entered the NFL with the Ravens in 2005 as a player personnel assistant, where he worked on Baltimore's NFL Draft and free agency process by evaluating players, organizing free agent tryouts, and monitoring potential trade and waiver transactions, and transitioned to coaching with Baltimore in 2008.
Anderson then coached the safeties in Indianapolis from 2012-15, helping Mike Adams earn consecutive Pro Bowl selections, and then he moved on to San Francisco for a season before joining Vic Fangio in Chicago for the 2017-18 seasons. There, Anderson helped Chicago lead the NFL in scoring defense (17.7 ppg), rushing defense (80.0 ypg), yards per play (4.8), takeaways (35), interceptions (27), three-and-outs (26.8%), and 20-plus-yard plays (46). Anderson oversaw the development of starting safeties Eddie Jackson and Adrian Amos. Jackson earned his first career Pro Bowl nod in the 2017 season and was named a First-Team All-Pro. Jackson also finished the season fourth in the NFL with six interceptions.
After spending a season at LSU as a defensive analyst, Anderson coached in Minnesota from 2020-22 as the assistant defensive backs coach and in Seattle in the 2023 season as secondary coach.
Joe Kasper, Safeties
After spending the 2023 season as the Miami Dolphins' safeties coach, Joe Kasper returns to Philadelphia for his second coaching stint with the Eagles. Kasper spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons on Nick Sirianni's staff as a defensive quality control coach. The Baldwin Wallace University alumnus is reunited with Fangio, who was the Dolphins' defensive coordinator during Kasper's lone season in Miami. Kasper played safety at Baldwin Wallace before beginning his coaching career at his alma mater, Mentor (Ohio) High School.
Bobby King, Inside Linebackers
The former Tennessee Titans' inside linebackers coach will fill the same role in his new position with the Eagles. Bobby King, a 14-year coaching veteran, joined the Titans in 2022 after serving various defensive coaching roles with the Houston Texans from 2017-21. King was an assistant linebackers coach with the Los Angeles Chargers from 2014-16, crossing paths with Sirianni, who was coaching on the offensive side of the ball for the Chargers.
Jason Michael, Tight Ends
2024 will mark Jason Michael's 22nd season as an NFL coach and his fourth with the Eagles. The former Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator has overseen the tight ends group for five teams before he came to Philadelphia with Nick Sirianni in 2021. Since that season, Dallas Goedert is third among NFL tight ends in yards per catch (12.5), fifth in yards after the catch (1,125), and sixth in receiving yards (2,124). Backup tight end Jack Stoll was the only undrafted rookie to make the opening day roster in 2021 and has played more than 1,300 snaps on offense in his career.
Aaron Moorehead, Wide Receivers
A former NFL receiver and Super Bowl Champion as a player, Aaron Moorehead returns for his fifth season with the Eagles. In 2023, A.J. Brown (1,456) and DeVonta Smith (1,066) each posted 1,000-plus yards for the second straight season after becoming the first Eagles duo to accomplish the feat in 2022. Brown totaled the most receptions (106) by a wide receiver in Eagles history and he set an NFL record with six straight games with at least 125 yards this past season.
Doug Nussmeier, Quarterbacks
A former NFL quarterback, Doug Nussmeier has been coaching collegiately and professionally since 2001. The Portland, Oregon native has worked under new Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore since 2019, coaching tight ends and quarterbacks for Moore's offense in Dallas before becoming the Chargers' quarterbacks coach in 2023 during Moore's only season with the AFC West team. Nussmeier began coaching in the Canadian Football League and coached at Alabama, Florida, Michigan, and Washington.
Jeremiah Washburn, Defensive Ends/Outside Linebackers
Jeremiah Washburn brings a unique perspective to the Eagles' coaching staff with experience in player personnel and on both sides of the football. Originally hired by the Eagles as an advanced projects coordinator in 2019, Washburn spent two seasons as the team's senior defensive assistant before transitioning to defensive ends/outside linebackers coach in 2022. He enters his third season in that role in 2024. Linebacker Haason Reddick notched his fourth-straight season with double-digit sacks (11) in 2023 on the way to his second consecutive Pro Bowl appearance.
Joe Pannunzio, Assistant Special Teams Coordinator
First hired by the Eagles in 2015, Joe Pannunzio returns in 2024 as the assistant special teams coordinator, the fourth season he will serve in this role. After two years as the team's director of personnel operations, Pannunzio returned to the college ranks at Alabama for the 2017-18 seasons before rejoining the Eagles as the director of team development in 2019. Pannunzio brings more than 40 years of coaching experience at both the college and NFL levels.
Tyler Brown, Special Teams Assistant
An integral part of the special teams operation, Tyler Brown is in his fourth season with the Eagles after being promoted to special teams assistant in 2023. The Marlton, NJ native spent two seasons at Temple and five at Michigan before joining the Eagles in 2021.
T.J. Paganetti, Run Game Specialist/Assistant Offensive Line
2024 marks T.J. Paganetti's 10th season with the Philadelphia Eagles. He will be in a new role as the team's run game specialist/assistant offensive line coach this season after serving as a run game specialist/assistant tight ends coach last season. He originally joined the Eagles as an analyst (offense and quarterbacks) in 2013. Paganetti coached at his alma mater, the University of Oregon, for six seasons before arriving in Philadelphia. He returned to Oregon for two seasons and was rehired by the Eagles in 2017.
Kyle Valero, Offensive Assistant
Kyle Valero joins the Eagles' staff as an offensive assistant. Valero spent 10 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, holding multiple coaching positions under Moore including assistant wide receivers coach and quality control coach. During his final two seasons in Dallas, Valero also worked in analytics. Valero broke into the NFL with the Detroit Lions in 2010 following three years as an assistant at Florida State.
Ronell Williams, Assistant Linebackers/Defensive Quality Control
A native of Chester, PA, Ronell Williams enters his second season with the Eagles in a new role as the assistant linebackers/defensive quality control coach. In 2023, Williams was hired as the team's nickels coach. Due to injury, Williams had to integrate several players at the position in 2023. Prior to joining the Eagles, Williams was a defensive quality control coach with the Chicago Bears for four seasons.
Eric Dickerson, Offensive Quality Control
Eric Dickerson arrived in Philadelphia with Nick Sirianni in 2021 and returns for his fourth season with the Eagles and third in his role as offensive quality control coach. On their way to a third consecutive playoff appearance, the Eagles ranked seventh in points and eighth in yards gained in 2023.
Tyler Scudder, Defensive Quality Control
Tyler Scudder returns for a fourth season with the Eagles in a new role as a defensive quality control coach after assisting with the linebackers in 2023. Prior to joining the Eagles, Scudder coached for 12 seasons in the college ranks.
Tyler Yelk, Head Coach Quality Control
Tyler Yelk was hired by the Eagles in 2023 and enters his second season with the new title of head coach quality control after initially joining the team as the assistant to the head coach. Before arriving in Philadelphia, Yelk coached for 14 years in the college ranks, including a season at Temple, where he worked with the nickels.
