The Eagles escaped Sunday's 33-10 win without any long-term injuries. Cornerback Patrick Robinson, the only injury of note, left midway through the second quarter with a head injury and is in the concussion protocol.

Cornerback Ronald Darby will inherit more reps during practice this week in hopes that he makes his way back into football shape. Meanwhile, second-year lineman Halapoulavaati Vaitai held up well in his first start at left tackle.

Doug Pederson addressed Monday whether the team would be active in acquiring another player before Tuesday's trade deadline. Pederson told reporters the team is always in search of new talent but the player would need to fit in perfectly with the chemistry the 7-1 Eagles have in the locker room.

"That might be a Howie (Roseman) question. I like where we are at with our roster (with) the way guys are playing. We're always looking obviously, I'm not going to leave it out of the question, but at the same time the guys that we have in this locker room we have a lot of confidence in. We'll go forward from there," he said.

"It's got to be the right fit. It can't just be anybody. From my standpoint, you don't want to disrupt the chemistry that is going on in the dressing room right now. The guys are playing with a lot of confidence and rallying behind each other so it'd have to be a pretty special fit to make it work."

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the San Francisco 49ers, 33-10,to advance to 7-1 on the season.
