Doug Pederson: Rib Displacement For Ertz

Head coach Doug Pederson told reporters on Monday that tight end Zach Ertz suffered a rib displacement injury in the collarbone area during Sunday's win over Cleveland.

Ertz's status is week to week, and will need to be cleared by doctors before he can return to action. The injury happened in the first quarter, but not on the one-handed grab on the game's opening drive. It was three plays later when he took a short pass from quarterback Carson Wentz and bulldozed a defender before going out of bounds on a 13-yard gain. Ertz played on and finished with six catches for 58 yards, including a critical fourth-down conversion in the second half.

The good news from the tight end position is that Trey Burton is on track to play next Monday night against Chicago. Burton was a game-time decision with a calf injury he suffered in Friday's practice, but was inactive.

Cornerback Leodis McKelvin is week to week with a hamstring strain which forced him to leave Sunday's game early. Rookie guard Isaac Seumalo is day to day with a pec injury, which is why he was inactive against the Browns.
