T.J. Paganetti, who enters his seventh season as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles' coaching staff, was named an offensive quality control coach during the 2021 offseason.
Paganetti served as the assistant running backs coach during the 2019-20 seasons and took on the responsibility of assistant run game coordinator in 2020. Additionally, he spent two years (2017-18) as the offensive quality control/assistant offensive line coach after working as an analyst (offense and quarterbacks) from 2013-14.
In 2020, Paganetti assisted a rushing offense that ranked third in the NFL in yards per attempt (5.0) and yards per game (126.7). Miles Sanders, who became the first Eagle to register multiple 70-plus-yard rushing touchdowns in a season, finished with career highs in rushing yards (867) and rushing touchdowns (six) while producing the fifth-best rushing average (5.3) among league running backs.
During the 2019 season, Paganetti helped guide Sanders to PFWA All-Rookie honors after leading his class with 1,327 scrimmage yards and setting a team rookie record with 818 rushing yards. Sanders also ranked third among NFL running backs in scrimmage yards per touch (5.8) and fourth in 20-plus-yard plays (13).
As the assistant offensive line coach, Paganetti worked with a unit that sent guard Brandon Brooks and tackle Lane Johnson to the Pro Bowl after the 2017-18 seasons. In that span, center Jason Kelce collected back-to-back first-team All-Pro honors while Johnson received his first career All-Pro selection following the 2017 campaign.
Paganetti helped coach one of the league's most impactful offensive lines during Philadelphia's Super Bowl LII-winning season in 2017. The Eagles, who produced a team-record-tying 13 wins en route to an NFC East championship and No. 1 seed in the playoffs, led the NFL in red zone offense (65.5 pct.) and also ranked third in rushing offense (132.2 ypg) and offensive points per game (26.3).
During Paganetti's time as an analyst, Philadelphia set multiple single-season franchise records, including points (474), touchdowns (54), passing yards (4,581) and first downs (356) in 2014, as well as total net yards (6,676) and fewest turnovers (19) in 2013.
Between stints with the Eagles, Paganetti returned to Oregon as a graduate assistant/linebackers coach during the 2015-16 seasons. He previously worked with the Ducks' quarterbacks as an offensive intern in 2012 after serving as a student assistant (offense and quarterbacks) from 2009-11. Paganetti originally began his coaching career as an undergraduate offensive intern (2007-08) with Oregon.
A native of Bedford, MA, Paganetti earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Oregon in 2012.
