Joe Kasper originally joined the Philadelphia Eagles as a defensive quality control coach during the 2021 offseason after spending the previous three years (2018-20) at Duke University.
With the Blue Devils, Kasper worked with the quarterbacks (2020) and defensive backs (2018-19) as a graduate assistant. In 2019, Duke's defense ranked third in the ACC and 24th nationally in passing yards allowed per game. Kasper also helped the Blue Devils rank fourth in the conference in passing yards allowed per game as well as fifth in pass efficiency defense during the 2018 season.
Prior to joining Duke's staff, Kasper coached the wide receivers at John Carroll University in 2017. He also spent the 2015-16 seasons as the defensive backs coach at Mentor (OH) High School.
From 2013-14, Kasper served as a player personnel and development assistant with the Cleveland Browns.
A native of Mentor, OH, Kasper played safety at Baldwin Wallace University, where he was a three-year letterwinner and earned Capital One Academic All-America honors before graduating in 2015 with a degree in political science.
