Head coach Andy Reid said that quarterback Michael Vick is "still recovering" from the rib cartilage injury that sidelined him for last week's win over the 49ers, but he will not practice on Wednesday. Vick is "day-to-day," according to Reid, but in the meantime Kevin Kolb will take the first-team reps at practice.
Vick is still not throwing, according to Reid, but is doing some lifting. Kolb was 21 of 31 (68 percent) for 253 yards with a touchdown for a 103.3 QB rating against the 49ers in Vick's stead.
Vick will certainly want to play this Sunday against his former team, the Atlanta Falcons. Last year, Vick's best game came against his former team in the Georgia Dome as he passed for 48 yards and rushed for 17 yards while scoring his first two touchdowns as a Philadelphia Eagle in a blowout win.
