Rocca Signed To One-Year Contract

With the NFL Draft just hours away, the Eagles announced that Sav Rocca has signed his one-year restricted free agent tender. All of the Eagles restricted free agents are now under contract.

A former star in the Australian Football League, Rocca won the team's punter job in 2007 and has set the single-season franchise record for net punting in each of the last two years. In fact, Rocca is the franchise's all-time leader with a 37.0 net punting average.

Last season, Rocca averaged 42.4 yards per punt and a net average of 38.3 yards per punt. Twenty-six of his punts went inside the 20-yard line and his longest was a 61-yarder.

The Eagles ranked fourth in the league last year defending punt returns, surrendering just 5.4 yards per return.
