According to a report by former Eagle and radio host Garry Cobb on his website, gcobb.com, the Eagles have approached quarterback Kevin Kolb about a contract extension.
Citing an unnamed source, Cobb states that the Eagles have made the 25-year-old signal-caller a contract offer.
Of course, Kolb is one of three quarterbacks on the Eagles roster with starting experience. Kolb surpassed the 300-yard passing mark in his first two NFL starts becoming the only player in league history to do so. Kolb's current contract runs through the 2010 season.

UPDATE:Geoff Mosher of the Wilmington News-Journal responded to Cobb's report on Twitter, writing, "A league source just informed me that reports of the Eagles offering a contract extension to Kevin Kolb are 'ridiculously false.'"
