When asked whether Michael Vick would start next week against the Titans if he's recovered from the rib cartilage injury that's sidelined him for two weeks, head coach Andy Reid said that Michael Vick is "the starting quarterback" but followed that up with "I will promise you that we'll have one of (Vick or Kevin Kolb) out there."
Reid joked with reporters following Kolb's 326-yard, three-touchdown performance in Sunday's 31-17 win over Atlanta as he reiterated the same stance that he's had regarding the quarterback situation.
"I'm not much into telling you guys this, but this is a beautiful thing. I told you that before, and I'm going to reiterate it," Reid said. ""If you're sitting here as a chubby, head coach in the National Football League and you have two good quarterbacks, you're a happy guy. That's a positive, positive thing."
