No Practice For Falcons' Turner, Dahl

All-Pro running back Michael Turner did not practice on Wednesday after he sprained his ankle for the second time in three weeks against the Bucs last Sunday.

Turner told AtlantaFalcons.com that he's taking the injury "one day at a time."

"I feel better now than the Wednesday before but ankle sprains are funny injuries," Turner told the team's official website. "You just have to take your time with it, not rush things and make sure you're back as close to 100 percent as possible."

Turner originally sprained his ankle in Week 10 at Carolina and missed the following week's game against the New York Giants. Last week, Jerious Norwood rushed for 22 yards and caught two passes for 28 yards and a touchdown in Turner's absence. Jason Snelling has done the most damage between the tackles tallying 84 yards and a pair of touchdowns over the last two weeks.

The Falcons are already without the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Matt Ryan. The quarterback suffered a turf toe injury in the first quarter of last Sunday's game and was ruled out earlier this week by Falcons head coach Mike Smith. Chris Redman is starting in Ryan's place.

Redman, who was sacked five times last Sunday, may not have two of his bodyguards for the Eagles game. Tackle Sam Baker was limited in practice with an elbow injury. Guard Harvey Dahl missed practice with an ankle injury. Each player left Sunday's game due to his respective injury.

If that's not enough, two of Redman's top targets are on the injury report. Wide receiver Roddy White, who caught the game-winning touchdown last Sunday, was limited in practice because of a knee injury. The other starting wideout, Michael Jenkins, did not participate in practice because of an ankle injury.
