RB LeSean McCoy
On how it felt playing the first preseason game of the season: "It does feel very good to be out there with your teammates. It's nice getting back into it."
On the first series: "It's still early. It was only one series and it's going take a lot to be a good team. We have to get everybody back healthy and in the flow of things. It will take a bit of time, but we will be good. I think that past few years we were good and now with a few more weapons and working together, we will be fine."
On how he felt the defense played tonight watching them from the sidelines: "The defense looked good. I didn't see too many guys getting open. I have to play against them every day and they seem very good."
TE Brent Celek
On the offense's efficiently tonight: "That is what we wanted to do. We wanted to come out and score on the first drive. We put a nice drive together and that is something we want to do all season. It was a good start, but it was just a start and we have a long way to go."
On how the offensive line is coming together: "It takes a little bit of time, but I think the guys are doing a great job. (offensive line) coach (Howard) Mudd is doing a great job with the line and we are starting to get the schemes and jell as an offense. It's been going real well.
RG Danny Watkins
On his performance tonight: "There are certainly some things I need to work on. I have only been in camp for a week, so I need to get comfortable with things and pick up on the offense. It's going to be a continuing thing. There are a lot of things to work on. I told coach Mudd that I am not afraid to put extra time into it. I am hoping for a good week of practice and head down to Pittsburgh and see how it goes."
On the biggest difference between college and professional football: "The speed of the game is obviously different."
On how good it felt scoring on the first drive: "Yeah, that is what you want to do, get a touchdown on the first drive. It was great and it all worked out well. It relieved the butterflies a little bit."
On whether he felt comfortable with his assignments after hearing the play calls: "Yeah, there were some things I was comfortable with and some things I need to continue to work on."
WR Riley Cooper
On whether he thinks he helped his cause making the team tonight: "Yeah, you always help your cause when you (make catches). That is what you have to do."
On what he's seen from QB Mike Vick: "I think you mature as you play. You mature every practice, so in that aspect, he's getting more comfortable and taking on that leadership role really well. He's a heck of a player and guy."
QB Vince Young
On his performance tonight and his preparation leading up to the game: "I felt alright. I still need more work, time and reps at practice. It's pretty much it."
On whether he's enjoying the team environment: "From a team and coaching aspect, it's been an easy transition. They all have been helping me out to stay on top of things and making sure I am in the right place. The fans have been great as well."
On how he felt tonight: "There are a couple of things I need to work on, but I felt pretty good. I felt like we got in a rhythm. I just wanted to get in the huddle and make sure guys were in the right places."
On what he takes out of this game: "I have to continue to keep working. It's a new offense and a new team. I just want to continue to keep working. I felt alright tonight, but it's not where I want to be at. I have to go back to the practice field and keep working to progress."
RB Ronnie Brown
On whether it's better to score quickly or sustain a drive: "I think it's great to sustain a drive and keep it going. You want to keep the defense out on the field, but at the same time, try to keep the other teams offense off the field. I think that most teams that win the battle of time of possession usually win the game. I think that is going to be big."
On how he thinks Vince Young did tonight: "I think he did a great job. As long as we get the mental part together, his athletic ability will take over. I think we all saw that with a couple of plays he made. Right now, we are just in that phase to change French into English. It has been a quick process, but I think we have picked it up very well. We still do have a lot of work to do though. For the most part, I think we have a good basis for what we are doing."
On whether he was expecting to get 11 touches tonight: "I think it was good and something I needed. I got into camp last Thursday and that was the first time I could get out there. I feel like I have a lot of room for improvement and I have a lot of work to do. It felt good to see where I am at and now I have a starting point to move forward."
C Jamaal Jackson
On how he would grade the offensive line tonight: "I think we did a pretty good job. Guys like (T) Ryan Harris and (G Danny Watkins), they came in on short notice and did a pretty good job, so kudos to them."
On getting a lot of first downs despite not picking up big yards in the running game: "I think we ran the ball twice. You kind of have to establish a little bit of a rhythm, but we got a first down on one and the other one we couldn't punch it in unfortunately. We'll get more opportunities as the preseason goes on."
On whether there is anything he is working on specifically: "Staying healthy, just staying healthy. My thing is just staying healthy."
