Bart Scott

Extremely versatile playmaker. Can start inside or outside. Can play in a 3-4 or a 4-3. His production peaked in 2006, but Scott remains one of the best linebackers in the NFL.

Michael Boley

<td>
Boley was a star on the rise prior to 2008. Didn't adjust well to the new coaching staff. He was a real playmaker in the past. Effective against the run and pass.

Angelo Crowell

Missed the 2008 season because of a knee injury. Has been a productive playmaker in the past. Could play inside linebacker in some schemes.

Takeo Spikes
</td>
<td>
Veteran linebacker played inside in the Niners 3-4 defense this year and did a good job. Had three interceptions. Has always been a good run defender. He's not as athletic as in the past, but still is a quality starter.

Derrick Brooks
</td>
<td>
It was shocking to see the Bucs cut their leader. Brooks will turn 36 in April and isn't the playmaker he once was, but he remains a solid player and big time leader. Could be an excellent addition for a young team.
