This edition of Digital Nest is devoted to not only one of the greatest Eagles of all time, but one of the best football players to ever lace up the cleats. Chuck Bednarik, one of the last 60-minute men, passed away on Saturday at the age of 89.
Bednarik lived a full life- He won an Air Medal in World War II, he had a Hall of Fame NFL career and was married for 51 years. He encompassed everything that it means to be an Eagle, to be a Philadelphian.
