Coleman, Patterson Out Vs. Buccaneers

Safety Colt Anderson will make his first start for the Eagles Sunday. Anderson is taking the place of the injured Kurt Coleman, who is out after suffering a chest contusion against the Cowboys in Week 13. Starting in his place will be Colt Anderson, who is making his first start as an Eagle. Anderson is the Eagles' special teams ace, but is expected to pull double duty Sunday.

Quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy were both ruled out earlier in the week as they recover from their respective concussions. Both are in stage four of their ImPACT concussion testing. Defensive tackle Mike Patterson was also ruled out earlier in the week as he recovers from viral pneumonia. Patterson was hospitalized Friday and did not make the trip to Tampa Bay.

After spending the season on the Eagles' practice squad, Rau was promoted to the active roster Saturday morning and is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. Wide receiver Marvin McNutt will also dress for the first time in his career.

Also inactive for the Eagles are: wide receiver Greg Salas, running back Chris Polk and offensive tackle Matt Kopa.

The Buccaneers will be without starting defensive tackle Roy Miller, who is recovering from a head injury. Also out for the Buccaneers are: wide receivers David Douglas and David Gilreath, linebacker Najee Goode, cornerback LeQuan Lewis, defensive end Matthew Masifilo and running back Michael Smith.
