Barbara Zaun

After being named Director of the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders in 2002, Barbara Zaun implemented a cutting-edge approach to branding the Eagles Cheerleaders which led to their status as one of the most sought after, highly publicized, and elite squads in the NFL. Under Barbara's direction, the Eagles Cheerleaders have become known for their forward-thinking ideas and global appeal. She has obtained high-profile opportunities for the squad including features in top publications such as Maxim, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Esquire, Vanity Fair, Elle, and GQ as well as exclusive national and international television features. She coordinated the Eagles Cheerleaders international promotional tours to London, Mexico City, Hong Kong, Quebec City, Toronto, and Montreal as well as their Goodwill Military Tours to Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Kosovo. Barbara is the Art Director and Producer of the Eagles Cheerleaders Calendar, photographed internationally, which continues to be one of the most innovative and successful calendars in sports. She was instrumental in the creation of the first Cheerleader Calendar Mobile App in the NFL, and within 5 days of the launch, the Eagles Cheerleaders Calendar App ranked on Google Play's list of Top 5 Sports Apps. She was also the Executive Producer of the popular one-hour Eagles Cheerleaders Special on NFL Network. Barbara was involved in the creative process of outfitting the Eagles Cheerleaders in uniforms by famed designer Vera Wang, originally in 2003 and for the New Signature Pieces in 2013, which were highlighted during the prestigious Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York.

Barbara coordinated all of the Eagles Cheerleaders media appearances at major sporting events including Super Bowl XXIX, Hall of Fame game, Senior Bowl, and the NFL Kickoff in Times Square as well as internationally acclaimed events such as the amFAR Inspirational Gala. In addition, she has produced several NFC Championship half-time shows and transformed the audition process into an annual sold-out live show at the prominent Kimmel Center. Barbara was a NFL Cheerleader for the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles. An accomplished dancer and public speaker, prior to becoming a NFL Cheerleader, she was a titleholder and keynote speaker within the Miss USA and Miss America Organizations and also awarded the prestigious Miss America Community Service Award. Barbara has a diverse background in both Sports and Entertainment formerly working in professional baseball and soccer as well as the modeling and television industry.
