Adam Caplan of Scout.com and Sirius NFL Radio, as well as a frequent contributor to Eagles Live! presented by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, reported on today's show that the Eagles have privately worked out Fordham quarterback John Skelton.
Caplan said that the 6-5, 258-pound Skelton is projected to go somewhere between the third and fifth round.
After Caplan's spot on the show, we had Chris Steuber of Scout.com to offer an analysis of Skelton.
"Very much a developmental quarterback. Very strong arm. Very raw. Teams like his ability and upside," Steuber said.
Steuber believes that Skelton could be on the board until the sixth round.
As for Steuber's two-round mock draft, he has the Eagles selecting cornerback Devin McCourty of Rutgers with the 24th overall pick and Baylor center J.D. Walton with their second-round pick.
