Browns On The Clock

Now we come to one of the true turning points of this year's NFL Draft. After you allotted Southern Cal left tackle Matt Kalil to the Minnesota Vikings with the third overall pick, the Cleveland Browns are now on the clock.

If the Browns choose to keep the fourth overall pick, they will have plenty of options to upgrade their talent level immediately. Running back Trent Richardsonis a popular link to the Browns and is said to be the best running back prospect since Adrian Peterson in 2007. Richardson would become the Browns' bellcow immediately and would help take some of the pressure off of Colt McCoy if the Browns choose to move forward with him as their quarterback.

Two years ago, the Browns used a top-10 selection on cornerback Joe Haden, who has proved to be one of the more promising corners in the league. Could the Browns look to create a star-studded cornerback tandem by adding LSU's Morris Claiborne to the mix? Claiborne's talent is certainly worthy of being in the conversation. Elsewhere on defense, linemen Melvin Ingram and Fletcher Cox could be possibilities, though they might be deemed a bit of a "reach" at No. 4.

What about wide receiver? The Browns haven't had a player amass over 900 yards receiving since 2007, so could they add either Justin Blackmon or Michael Floyd to young up-and-comer Greg Little?

And then there's Ryan Tannehill. Conventional wisdom is that if the Browns do opt to trade the fourth pick, which they've rumored to be open to, then whoever moves up could be looking to get their hands on the third-best quarterback prospect in the draft. Then again, the Browns could take Tannehill for themselves, though they've also been rumored to be interested in Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden with their other first-round pick, No. 22 overall. Claiborne or Richardson could also be prime targets for a team trading up.

Of course, the Eagles are one of those teams rumored to be interested in the fourth pick. If they were to make that move up the draft board, who would they target? Claiborne? Tannehill? Don't forget to factor that into your decision.

So who will it be? The choice is up to you, and the rest of top 10 dominoes will fall in place afterward.
