Biography

Anne Gordon was named the Senior Vice President of Media and Communications for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012. In this role, she oversees the organization’s media assets including its television programing, radio and digital and social media assets in addition to print. She also oversees the Eagles public relations - both football and community relations. In addition, Gordon also oversees the team’s community relations department with its focus on Eagles Care.

Gordon has a broad background in media including as an investor and former partner in the private investment firm of Dubilier & Company. There, she held primary responsibility for buying, investing and building media firms for Dubilier & Co.’s portfolio. She joined Dubilier & Co. in May 2007 after having served as managing editor and vice president of news for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

At The Inquirer, Anne – a longtime Philadelphia resident - was responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the newspaper in its print and online versions for a little over five years. She joined The Inquirer in 1999.

Anne is a 2001 Eisenhower Fellow who studied media issues in Finland and Sweden, with a special emphasis on wireless research and development with Nokia and Ericsson. She was a Pulitzer Prize juror in 2003, serving as chairwoman, and in 2002 was a juror in the Public Service category. She is an avid athlete who enjoys biking, swimming and weight training. She is married and has a son, who is in graduate school.
