Biography

Harold Carmichael, the greatest receiver in franchise history, is in his 14th season as the club's Director of Player Development and Alumni. In this role, Carmichael coordinates all life skill programs with Eagles players, including relocation, financial education, family assistance, career internships and continuing education - all in an effort to help them succeed during and after their football careers.

Carmichael plays an integral role at the NFL's annual rookie symposium, an interactive forum which educates rookies of their off-field responsibilities during their NFL career and beyond.

The 6-8 Carmichael was not only one of the tallest receivers ever to play; he was also one of the best in NFL history. A seventh-round pick out of Southern University in 1971, Carmichael played 13 seasons with the Eagles and finished his career ranked sixth on the NFL's all-time reception list.
