Biography

Trent Edwards signed a one-year deal with the Eagles on 2/23/12. On 9/5/12 he signed a one-year extention that will keep him in Philadelphia through the 2013 season. Edwards played in 37 games (33 starts) with Buffalo and Jacksonville, completing 60.5% of his passes for 6,015 yards and 26 touchdowns. As a college signal caller at Stanford, Edwards finished sixth in Stanford annals in completions (487) and passing attempts (865) and seventh all-time in passing yards  (5,429) and touchdowns (36). He was a third-round draft choice of the Bills in 2007.
