Biography

An intelligent and athletic safety, Nate Allen has been a reliable contributor at the safety position since being selected 37th overall in the 2010 draft. After suffering a knee injury that sidelined him at the end of his rookie season, Allen endured a slow start to the 2011 season but reestablished himself as a solid starter on the Eagles defense by season’s end. During his time at South Florida, he was a team captain and a second-team All-Big East performer.
