Biography

Originally a fifth-round selection of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012, Najee Goode (pronounced NAH-gee GOOD) was claimed off waivers by the Eagles prior to the start of the 2013 regular season. Goode provided the Eagles with quality depth at both the inside linebacker position and on the team’s special team’s units. While starring collegiately at West Virginia, Goode tied a school record by playing in 52 career games and garnered first-team All-Big East honors after leading the team with 87 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and five sacks as a senior.
