Biography

An athletic and intelligent quarterback, the Eagles selected Mike Kafka in the 4th round of the 2010 NFL draft out of Northwestern. After spending his entire rookie season as the third string quarterback, Kafka saw his first career NFL action, relieving injured starting QB Michael Vick in the third quarter at Atl. (9/18). As a senior at Northwestern in 2009, Kafka was a second-team All-Big Ten selection and amassed 5,152 yards of total offense and 30 touchdowns
(19 passing, 11 rushing) in his career.
