A sixth-round draft selection of Carolina in the 2013 NFL Draft, Kenjon Barner (pronounced Ken-Yon) was originally acquired by the Eagles from the Panthers on Aug. 19, 2014, in exchange for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2015. Waived-injured following the 2014 training camp, the Eagles signed Barner to their practice squad on Nov. 4, 2014. A collegiate standout under Chip Kelly at the University of Oregon, Barner appeared in 49 games with 20 starts for the Ducks and finished his collegiate career ranked second in school history with 3,623 rushing yards and tied for second with 41 rushing touchdowns.
