Biography

One of the most prolific receivers in SEC history, Jordan Matthews was selected by the Eagles in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft and is the franchise’s all-time leader in receptions (152) by a player in his first two seasons in the league. A tireless worker, Matthews led the Eagles in receiving yards (997), receptions (85) and receiving touchdowns (eight) during his sophomore campaign in 2015. The Southeastern Conference’s all-time leader in receptions (262) and receiving yards (3,759), Matthews earned All-America honors and first-team All-SEC recognition in both his junior and senior campaigns. As a senior in 2013, Matthews established a then-SEC record with 112 catches and tied for the third-highest single-season receiving yardage total with 1,477 yards.
