Defensive end Everette Brown has played in 31 career games (three starts) with the Carolina Panthers (2009-10) and San Diego Chargers (2011), registering 49 tackles, six sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception. He spent the 2012 offseason with the Detroit Lions, but was released as part of the team’s final roster cut down. Originally a second-round draft choice if the Panthers in 2009, Brown played collegiately at Florida State, where he finished his career with 100 tackles and 23 sacks, while earning first-team All-ACC and second-team All-America honors in 2008. A native of Stantonburg, N.C., Brown attended Beddingford High School in Wilson, N.C.
