Biography

A former second-round selection of Tampa Bay in 2010, Arrelious Benn was acquired by the Eagles in a trade with the Buccaneers during the 2013 offseason. Benn recorded 59 receptions for 862 yards and five touchdowns during his three-year stint in Tampa Bay. In 2011, he started all 14 games in which he appeared and recorded career highs in catches (30), receiving yards (441) and touchdowns (3). A native of Washington, D.C., Benn starred at the University of Illinois where he became the first Illini receiver since 2002 and only the fourth player in school history to surpass 1,000 yards receiving in a single season.
