Boasting rare collegiate experience at three offensive and one defensive position, Emil Igwenagu (pronounced eh-MEAL ig-wen-AH-goo) re-signed to the Eagles practice squad prior to Week 7 in 2013 after spending the previous six weeks on the team’s active roster. In 2012, Igwenagu was promoted to the Eagles 53-man roster late in his rookie campaign after spending Weeks 1-14 on the team’s practice squad. A rookie free agent signing out of UMass, the former Minuteman was a two-year team captain and a first team All-Colonial Athletic Association tight end/halfback his senior year.
