Biography

A fifth-round draft choice of the Eagles in 2011, Dion Lewis served as the primary kickoff returner and a reserve running back in his rookie campaign. He rushed for 2,860 yards in just two seasons at Pittsburgh, eclipsing a school record once held by new Eagles teammate LeSean McCoy for most rushing yards by a freshman and sophomore. Lewis finished his two-year career ranked fourth on the school’s all-time rushing list.
