Career Summary
A promising fullback with speed and pass-catching ability out of the backfield, Jason Davis is now in his third year in Philadelphia after spending the entire 2007 season on the team's practice squad. Originally a rookie free agent signee out of Illinois in 2006, Davis' rookie campaign was cut short after a knee injury suffered in the first preseason game landed him on Injured Reserve.

PERSONAL:
- His fiance, Jessica, works on Capitol Hill for a Florida Congressman and is currently studying for the LSAT. Interestingly, Jessica's last name is also Davis. She met Jason after she approached his parents at an Illinois game and commented on the jerseys they were wearing, their son's, since it was also her last name. Jason later tracked Jessica down and the two began dating. He found her among the 11 other Jessica Davis' enrolled at Illinois at the time
- His father, Anthony, is a parole officer in the Missouri Probation and Parole system, while his mother, Julie, is a supervisor for AT&T. Credits the strength and guidance of his parents for keeping him out of trouble growing up in the tough North Side of St. Louis
- His soon-to-be father-in-law, Stephen Davis, played football at Tennessee and later in the NFL. Stephen is the Founder and President of The Will Group, an engineering firm in Chicago that installed the lighting system in the new Soldier Field and on Lakeshore Drive
