- Says the reason why he first started playing football was because of his mother, Florence. "My first love was baseball," said Clark. "But, my mom absolutely loves football. So, one day when I was about ten years old, she came home from work with some pads and said, 'let's go.' I've been playing ever since."
- Claims the biggest thing he had to adjust to in Philadelphia is "the fast-paced lifestyle." Said Clark: "Back where I grew up, it was the complete opposite of city life. There was lots of peace and quiet, not a lot of hustle-and-bustle. Here, everybody always seems to be in a rush. I'm getting used to it though, it's growing on me."

- Resides in Daphne, AL, in the offseason
- Parents are Kenneth and Florence. Kenneth is a brick mason and Florence works in a doctor's office
- Has three younger sisters, Jameika, Brittany, and Akenya, and one older brother, Tillery, who is a political science professor at the University of Idaho
- Was an all-state performer during his senior season at Daphne (AL) HS, where he amassed 80 tackles and 9 sacks in helping his team to the state 6A championship
- Also lettered in basketball and track
- Grew up a fan of the Atlanta Braves and Fred McGriff
- One of his favorite hobbies is reading up on history and watching the History Channel. Is also an avid fan of Greek mythology
- Loves eating seafood, and enjoys crabbing and fishing in Mobile Bay, AL
