• Intercepted QB Eli Manning vs. NYG (1/7/07, NFC-WC) for his first career playoff INT
• Pressured Manning in the 4th qtr. at NYG (12/17/06) and caused him to loft an errant pass into the arms of DE Trent Cole, who returned it 19 yds. for a TD, sealing the Eagles victory
• Hauled in an INT off QB Mark Brunell and returned it 70 yds. for a TD vs. Was. (11/12/06). It was the longest return of his career
2005 HIGHLIGHTS:

Birdseed
BIRDSEED:
• Graced the cover of the July 30th, 2007 edition of Sports Illustrated for his monstrous hit on Saints RB Reggie Bush in the 2006 NFC Divisional Playoff game.
• Has said that some day down the road, when he is done playing professional football, that he'd love to return to his alma mater, Lewisville (SC) High School, and become the school's head football coach. In 2006, Brown renovated the team's weight room, maybe in preparation for his coaching career. The weight room is now the best of all Class A schools in South Carolina. Sheldon's NFL, college, and high school jerseys all hang in the hall outside of the weightroom as a tribute to his support. "I think I'd be a great coach because I know how to reach out to kids," said Brown. "They can look at me as somebody who has already been down the road and I know what it takes to reach your goals. That holds weight with kids."
• Draws inspiration from his grandmother who is now fully recovered from a stroke she suffered in the 2005 offseason. "When it happened, they told us to expect the worst. Her one wish was to be there for the birth of her great grandson, and I'm so glad I gave that to her. She fought right through it and now she's doing so much better. Her strength gives me the inspiration to do what I do."
• Purchased a 41-foot RV which he used to take 12 members of his family from South Carolina to Disney World in the 2007 offseason. The vehicle was also used occasionally to transport the Eagles offseason charity basketball team to their games. His family also uses the RV to travel from South Carolina to Sheldon's games during the season
• In the 2005 offseason, Sheldon surprised his mother with a brand new home in Rock Hill, SC. The four-bedroom home was a gift to his parents, whom he feels he owes so much to. He even filled their garage for them with a Mercedes Benz C240. "I always wanted to buy my mother the perfect home. She has done so much for me in my life and she truly deserves every bit of it."
• The best man at his wedding was his college teammate and current Miami Dolphins CB Andre Goodman. Brown and Goodman are currently working on building a Boys Home in South Carolina. "A lot of kids have it rough growing up and my heart goes out to them. We want to give them a place they can go, be happy and learn about life. That's what we're trying to accomplish with this."
