Rick Minter
Inside Linebackers Coach

Biography

An established defensive coach with 30+ years of experience at the college level, Rick Minter was named the Eagles inside linebackers coach on February 8, 2013.

Minter most recently coached at Kentucky, where he served as the defensive coordinator (2012) and co-defensive coordinator (2011). In his first season with the Wildcats, Minter preached the importance of being opportunistic and forcing turnovers, leading to an increase in takeaways (25) and a decrease in points allowed (24.7) from the previous season. He also helped mentor LB Danny Trevathan, who earned All-American and first-team All-SEC honors after leading the conference in tackles (143).
