The Philadelphia Eagles Alumni Association was formed in 2011 to enhance the team's existing Alumni Program. Since 2011, the team has hosted an alumni captain at every home game and has recognized those alumni present at Lincoln Financial Field. In 2012, Brian Dawkins' No. 20 was retired during the September 30 game vs. the Giants. Troy Vincent and Leo Carlin were inducted into the team's Hall of Fame of the November 26 game vs. Carolina.
Players are given consideration for entry into the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame no sooner than three years after their retirement from the NFL. An internal committee within the Philadelphia Eagles organization submits candidates for consideration upon which time a decision is made within the Eagles organization. In special circumstances, exceptions are considered.
Stay tuned for more Alumni news ahead as we continue to pay tribute to the team's history.
