Birdseed
BIRDSEED:
- Would like to coach high school football when his playing days are over. In fact, helped coach the defensive line at a high school in Columbia, OH, for several months before being signed to the Eagles practice squad midway through the 2007 season. Said Xzavie of the experience: ""I broke down film, went to all the practices and games, everything. I like being able to develop the younger kids because I was in their situation once, too, and I know what it's like trying to make it.""
- Says the person that keeps him motivated to play football is his father, Harvey, who resides in Vacaville, CA, and is battling health problems. ""My dad was a big athlete in high school and I think he's really enjoyed seeing the success I've had in athletics growing up. Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to come to one of my games in awhile. One of my main motivations to make this team is so my dad can watch me from the stands when we play at San Francisco this year.""
