• Was a roommate of Eagles DE Victor Abiamiri for two years at Notre Dame. "We definitely have a camaraderie from playing next to each other and living together at Notre Dame. I'm really looking forward to playing next to him again on this level."
• Finished 49-0 as a state champion super-heavyweight wrestler as a junior and was ranked the #1 high school wrestler in the nation. Finished his wrestling career as a three-time All-American with a record of 142-5, and helped his team win the state title in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Also served as the team captain in his senior year. "Being a wrestler has definitely helped my football career, in terms of improving my leverage, balance, and hand quickness."

• Resides in Burnsville, MN
• Has an older brother, Drew Martin, and a younger brother, Dan Laws. Both went to the University of Minnesota. Trevor cites his older brothers as the biggest influence on his football career. "They were the ones who got me excited about playing sports and being competitive at a young age."
• During the past offseason, worked with a mixed martial arts trainer to improve hand speed and balance
