• Resides in Philadelphia and Redmond, WA
• Raised by his mother, Marietta, who is a manager at the Fort Sill commissary in Lawton, OK, which provides groceries to military personnel, retirees, and their families. Has one older brother, Felom, and one older sister, Katrice. Felom currently attends Cameron University in Lawton, OK, and is majoring in business. Katrice graduated from Cameron and works in a correctional facility in Oklahoma
• Attended Eisenhower (OK) HS, where he was a three-year starter at LG and earned all-state honors in his senior campaign. Also was a shotput and discus thrower for the track team. Placed 4th in the state in the shot put as a senior on just one throw (ironically that was the only throw that was not disqualified)
• Grew up in Lawton, OK, a middle class area of about 100,000 people. A number of recent NFL players have come from the Lawton area: Will Shields (Chiefs/retired), Jammal Brown (Saints), Marcus Henry (Jets), Larry Birdine (Broncos)

His definition of an O-lineman: "You've got to be dirty, you've got to be tough, and you've got to be smart. It's not an easy job, but someone's got to do it. You can't worry about the glory or you'll never make it."
His favorite O-lineman: Will Shields: "Will grew up in Lawton, just like me. He's what you look up to if you're a young guy trying to make it in this league. He's a great player that went to a lot of Pro Bowls. I think every o-lineman wants to achieve that status. Just an aggressive, great player, who isn't afraid to put it all on the line."
Versatility on the line: A three-year starter at guard and tackle at New Mexico State, Cole proved to be a jack of all trades in his rookie season on the Eagles offensive line. Not only did he take valuable snaps as the team's backup center, but he also was used as a blocking back in certain short-yardage situations. "I'll do whatever they want me to do. When you break it down, it's still going out there and hitting people, and I know I can do that."

COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS:
A three-year starter at New Mexico State, played guard and tackle, notching a school record 40 straight starts. Helped the Aggies finish 24th in the nation in passing yds./game (266.0 avg.).
