A free agent signing of the Eagles in 2007, Montae Reagor (pronounced MON-tay RAY-gurr) was the team's recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award last season. A veteran of 9 NFL seasons, Reagor returned to the field after missing most of 2006 with head and facial injuries suffered in a car accident prior to a game on October 22nd, while with Indianapolis. Originally a second round draft choice of the Broncos in 1999, Reagor has shown a knack for rushing the passer during his career, as he ranked fifth in the NFL among defensive tackles from 2004-05 with 10.5 sacks.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
- Ranked 5th among NFL DTs with 10.5 sacks and 3rd with 15 QB pressures from 2004-05
2007 HIGHLIGHTS:
- Was the team's 2007 recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award, which honors the NFL players that exemplify commitment to the principles of sportsmanship and courage. They are selected in a vote by their teammates for team effort as well as individual performance
- Registered a sack of Brett Favre at GB (9/9) in his first game since being injured in an automobile accident in October of 2006
2005 HIGHLIGHTS:
- Recorded a career-high in sacks (5.5)
- Recovered a fumble and returned it 37 yds. for his 1st career TD at Hou. (10/23/05)
