An All-Pac 10 Conference honorable mention selection as a senior, was part of an offensive line that produced an average of 407.5 yards per game and allowed just 11 sacks on 443 pass plays. Transferred to California in 2006 after earning All-America accolades at Solano Community College in 2005. Was also a two-time all-league selection at Solano.

PERSONAL:

• Married his high school sweetheart, Jessi, who is a manager at a brewery in Napa, CA. The couple owns two dogs, Rocky, a boxer, and Osa, a pug
• Parents are Lynnae and Jon Emery. Has one older brother, John
• Earned all-league, all-metro and second-team all-state honors as a senior at Napa HS and was named the league's Lineman of the Year. Also helped his team win two conference titles in his junior and senior seasons
• Enjoys golfing, video games and playing with his dogs in his free time
• Would like to coach when his playing days are over, and also has aspirations of one day running a preparation camp for the NFL combine
• Majored in business
