Eagles Top Achiever Awards

Since 1997, Eagles Youth Partnership, in partnership with Philadelphia Futures, a non-profit organization whose goal is to help kids do well in school while preparing for college and careers, has recognized 926 scholar-athletes for their academic excellence. Varsity football players from Allentown, Camden, Chester, Philadelphia and Reading who maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are invited to an awards ceremony and reception at the NovaCare Complex with their families and football coaches.

The 2007 Top Achievers Awards ceremony was held on May 31. Head coach Andy Reid, president Joe Banner and defensive tackle Montae Reagor joined Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro and EYP in honoring 90 local students who successfully met the qualifying criteria. Additionally, the student with the highest GPA from each high school was invited to attend Eagles training camp at Lehigh University, to be treated like an MVP.

Congratulations to all of the 2007 Top Achievers!
