EAGLES FLIGHT NIGHT! RAISES MORE THAN $1 MILLION
Eagles Youth Partnerships' inaugural Eagles Flight Night! was a huge success, surpassing attendance and fundraising goals. Last night, more than 31,000 football fans from all across the region came together at Lincoln Financial Field on Aug. 2, raising more than a million dollars!
"Eagles fans came out in force for Eagles Flight Night! The energy was electric and everywhere I looked, fans were smiling," said Sarah Martinez-Helfman, executive director of Eagles Youth Partnership. "The million dollars plus that we raised will ripple those smiles out across the region as it will help us to improve the lives of tens of thousands of children facing fourth and long odds."
All funds raised through Eagles Flight Night! benefit Eagles Youth Partnership's (EYP) ground-breaking community programs. Established in 1995, EYP is the nonprofit wing of the Philadelphia Eagles created to improve opportunities and enhance the quality of life for youth throughout the Philadelphia region. EYP provides health and educational resources to more than 50,000 children annually through programs such as the Eagles Book Mobile and Eye Mobile.
